CONSOLIDATED LAMP & GLASS satin chickadee LOVEBIRDS vase CORAL GREEN #2589

Description

Offered for sale is a beautiful antique glass VASE, made by the Consolidated Lamp & Glass Company.  It is made of ivory-tinted opaque glass with coral, pink, and green details.  The vase is pillow shaped with a rectangular opening, and has detailed raised-relief images of chickadees or lovebirds huddled among blooming flowers and leaves.  The images appear on both front and back, decorated in pastel blue-green (birds) and two shades of coral and salmon pink (flowers and leaves).  This vase is part of Consolidated’s Martele line, and is their item no. 2589.
The vase stands 6 1/2 inches (16.5cm) tall, and measures 4 1/4 inches (10.8cm) wide across the top.
Vase is in USED condition.  There are no chips, cracks, scratches or repairs, and no faded or missing paint, but there is one semicircular rim chip and some dark marks above one bird’s head (pictures 4 and 5).  The vase still displays beautifully, and appears flawless if the other side is turned to the front.

I pack all items in sturdy cartons with plenty of cushioning.  My shipping time is a HIGH estimate — I can usually ship faster than the estimated time.  I am happy to combine shipping to save on postage IF doing so will not risk breakage of fragile items.  If you win more than one of my items, please wait for a revised invoice before sending payment.
